[Br final smf 2.02]

Hi,

We're using the Br final theme.. Which is an awesome theme. We have a few users with Internet explorer 9 saying they cannot reply to their pms. When I asked if the screen can scroll to the right, they said yes and then the reply button was over there.

I don't have a screen shot and I dont have ie9, but I've seen this type of bug when newer browsers come out.

Any idea on a fix?

I dont have IE9 to confirm this, but I remember The helios theme having the same problem with blowing the screen out, but it was with posting.

No, they look a little different. I installed the theme on 4/21/2012

Ok.. I just tried using compatability mode on in ie8, and it blows the right side of the screen out to the point you have to scroll way over to see the send buttons.

I suspect the ie8 and ie9 are similar problems

Ok I just installed the newer version of BR Finale.. It still blows out the screen on the reply to in PM.

This occures under ie8 in compatability mode and ie9

..I did a big update on it, it's completely 2.0.2 now , I did this update on [ 7/18/2012 ] & you can only get it here...

You should not have this issue with the Theme below.

• Download , Unzip , FTP:// upload and overwrite the outdated one your using.

Yes.. I downloaded the newer versuon from here yesterday 2.0.2.. I get the same results using the compatability mode.

MS put compatability mode in IE 8 to deal with older websites and code. You can turn it on or off. In IE9 its fully integrated. In ie8 I just turn it off. IE9 you dont have a choice.

The only place its effecting is the reply screen in PM. It blows the screen out and you have to scroll over to to find the buttons. It works fine in this theme, but not in the BR finale.

It looks GREAT except when in the reply or quote in a PM, in IE9 or compatability mode in IE8

I had updated the theme, but uninstalled it since I was having the same problems. We have a few gif images in place of pngs and I didn't have time to fix those. I can put the updated theme back in.

I'll post here when that is set.

me & my help have all looked at this problem , yet we , and other BR Finale users
has not mentioned this nowhere as a problem..so far only You ..?

..So if other members come forward here and mention it , will we investigate it further , but
for Now this thread will remain , but marked as solved & locked.
