Title: CleanWhite For SMF 2.1.2
Post by: Dave on Oct 27, 22, 05:39:44 AM
I notice on the test board...which I signed up to not realising that it was just a test board...you have CleanWhite For SMF 2.1.2. This looks remarkably like Crips 'Cleantek' theme.

Is it ready for release yet please?

Hi Dave, no not just yet. I've been very busy lately. I had lost my job a week ago and am about to stat a new one next week. I've also been trying to learn a little about WordPress because people are asking if I can make WP sites for them.

But I do plan to get back to work on the themes. :) And I am also working on CleanWhite which is also on that site.

Sorry to hear about your job but you're to old to be working Steve, why don't you just retire gracefully like the rest of us  ;D

Thanks!

Today was my first actually day working and it went very well. I actually like the place and everyone is very friendly. No BS, etc. and everyone helps each other. Then again there's not a lot of people there. LOL

I take it that it's OK now?

I have made alterations to the header and footer again as I did on my old website. That's the only change though, all the copyrights and links are as this new version for 2.1.

Thanks to everyone who worked on it, it's a theme I've always liked.

Dave

I'm asking for comments, etc. over there on it before releasing it...hopefully, to make it better. LOL

I have found one issue today.

The text for the title bar is virtually invisible, Whilst installing new mods I noticed is. As you will see from the attachment the text is there but it's the same colour as the title bar.

I renamed the theme for my benefit so that I know it the one where I changed the header and footer, other than that it's still your theme.

In index.css, change this:

.title_bar th, .windowbg th {
padding: 4px 8px;
}

To this:

.windowbg th {
padding: 4px 8px;
}
.title_bar th {
padding: 4px 8px;
color: #fff;
}

Another tweak required Steve.

In 'Admin' under 'Forum' the drop box isn't wide enough to have the 'Smileys and Message Icons' on the same line. In the default theme it's OK.

I don't know if there's a setting for it to be auto width or not.

Have a look at the attachments  ;)

OK I have found how to remedy the above.

In index.css around line 953

find
/* Level 2 link background. */
.dropmenu li li {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
width: 17em;
font-size: 1em;
border-radius: 3px;
border: 1px solid transparent;

and change the width to 20em

I've fixed this. I've started a new theme to get rid of the other problems. ;)
