Title: Super Blue
Post by: hygron on May 17, 13, 09:54:26 PM
 I believe the answer is the same for both, and/or all Crip themes.

SMF 2.0.4
TP latest v.

Legally blind now, but treatments allow me to do some web building and upgrading.

I need a refresher on Crip header/banner modification.

Want to replace Super Blue with my name, or a banner

Thanks ahead and keep up the great support.  Peace, H

p.s.  Do you have to verify every post?  This is the 3rd time I tried to post this topic.

don't understand this, unless you meant I only posted 2 of 3 criteria...

Ok i see,
change your logo / banner via (../css/index.css )
--------------------------------------------------------//

#logo a {
  position: absolute; top: 2.5em; left: 2.5em; display: block; width: 469px !important; height: 102px !important; cursor: pointer; background: url(../images/theme/logo.png) no-repeat !important; }

Adjust as needed , TOP/LEFT..
You need to add above the exact => HEIGHT / WIDTH of your image..with the correct path..

I replaced logo on super blue.  Once I figured out what to look for.

Please look at screenshot.  Would like to center logo with equal space all around.  In order to do this;  I need to know how to omit sign in and search in header.  I know this might be an SMF question, but if you can help me here, members in the future will benefit here!  Thanks Crip  Looking for your reply.  Peace, H

p.s.  the css/index.css file, I did not find.  Is this in the default theme or all themes?

I knew it should be in a CSS file  ;)  My eyes play tricks on me due to this Macular Degeneration, and I just could not find the damn thing, even though I knew where it was supposed to be.  The 2.0 is completly new to me, and some things just look a lot different...;to me at least.  Thanks!

So;  I am assuming you are telling me to find 1st vode in earlier post and replace with the new code in the last post!?  I will give it a shot

Back Later, H

the file .. is already there , just edit it for your needs - and your logo/banner adjustment..
most of my code for my stuff => is usually near the bottom of ../css/index.css (styleSheet)
I remember your user-name from TP i think?
Crip  ;)

hi,
you can change the logo/banner here::

css/index.css

#logo a { position: absolute; top: 2.5em; left: 2.5em; display: block; width: 469px !important; height: 102px !important; cursor: pointer; background: url(../images/theme/logo.png) no-repeat !important; }

That logo will change after a few HARD Refreshes.
