Looks great! O0
We've found a few minor issues with Ambassador and will be releasing a new version soon. ;) Meanwhile...I've been changing the colors of some of the icons to gold to match the theme!
These two are in the /images/icons directory:

Hey Steve-o ... how do I stop the changing of colors when hovering over certain parts of the forum? For example, if I hover over a post the color changes but I prefer not to have that.
Thanks.
The other Steve.. :P
Hey, 'The Other Steve"...how's it going? LOL
To stop it you can either delete or comment out the ':hover" parts. For the post parts and some others you can do it for:
.windowbg:nth-of-type(2n+1):hover, .bg.odd
And:
.windowbg:nth-of-type(2n+1):hover, .bg.even
It's going. And you? :)
And thanks, I figured there were going to be a number of places but thought I'd make sure.
I'm good. Those 2 are the main ones. You just have to disable the background for them. Those 2 should also work for most of the admin. It's most those 2 lines. But there are a few other hover's that you may wish to disable.
Did you find what you've wanted?
Sorry, haven't had a chance yet. Will try to take a look today. :)
Okay, made the changes and it works awesome for the most part. There are still a couple of areas to change but they're easy enough.
Thanks again Steve-O.
No problem! :)
Maybe I'll post something about how to change it when I get a chance. ;)
Just wanted to say that it is nice to see Crips old themes being brought to 2.1.3.
Hey Twitch!
Thanks, Twitch! :) It's a little slow going they're coming.

I think you've understated that Steve :crazy2:. I didn't realise just how difficult is is to convert from SMF2.0 to SMF2.1.3
Thanks for updating Jeff's themes.
Obviously appreciated and enjoyed by many. :)

You're welcome. It takes some time, but once you done a few of them, it becomes a-lot easier.
I do have some suggestions, if that is okay :).
One thing that you may wanna check time from time is the CSS&HTML validation. There are a few errors on this theme.
HTML Error -
Error: Duplicate attribute class.

ntertext" class="copyright"><a

Also I noticed that the footer is kind of laid out wonky .(Images attached)
Change -
#footer {
margin: -130px 0 0 0;
padding: 2px 0 5px;
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);
border-bottom-left-radius: 8px;
flex: none;
height: 130px;
border-bottom-right-radius: 8px;
width: auto;
align-self: center;
color: #bd9851;
}
To
#footer {
margin: -130px 0 0 0;
padding: 2px 0 5px;
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);
border-bottom-left-radius: 8px;
flex: none;
height: 130px;
border-bottom-right-radius: 8px;
color: #bd9851;
width: auto;
text-align: center;
}
Everything will be aligned much better :).
Any help/suggestions are always welcome! :) I actually have only been doing this a a little while before 2.1 beta was released but have learned a lot in a little time. LOL
I really haven't tested it much on various resolutions. Thanks! I'll do that. :)
1. Footer is fixed. :)
2. I "think" the HTML error is fixed. Had to look it up. I was sure I've seen multiple classes before but it's been awhile. LOL
<li class="centertext copyright">', theme_copyright(), '</li>
3. CSS errors fixed...I "think". ;D
EDIT: BTW, where's the best place to look for validations? Web dev?
The W3C validation website.
I personally use the web developer plugin for Firefox to validate easily from a local install.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-developer/
Chrome version - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/web-developer/bfbameneiokkgbdmiekhjnmfkcnldhhm
Also one other small note, you need to update the theme description information in settings.english which is found in the language folder for the theme.
Link to the updated version?, I'd be more than happy to recheck everything for you.
I haven't been to the WC3 site in ages. They've been around for a long time.
I prefer using FF myself because of Chrome's privacy issues...although, I do check to see how themes look on other browsers. Dave likes Chrome and keeps up with that for us. :)
I've learned to never turn down help. LOL
I've already done that. LOL I noticed it a few days ago while checking over things.

They do make the standards for the World Wide Web and have since 1994 :P XD .
I also prefer Firefox, but gotta check all main browsers. Thankfully with the death of Internet Explorer this isn't as bad as it use to be.
If you have already done this, the zip in the first post is not up to date?
No, I am working on some fixes now and it may be almost ready to post. But I haven't checked it for validation issues yet.

Ah okay.
Did notice some color issues with validation background and the text color.
Find :
.valid_input {
background: rgb(245, 255, 240);
}
Replace With
.valid_input {
background: rgb(245, 255, 240);
color: #000;
}
Find -
.invalid_input {
background: rgb(255, 240, 240);
}
Replace -
.invalid_input {
background: rgb(255, 240, 240);
color: #000;
}
Change the color to whatever you prefer, black just seemed easiest to see contrast wise.
Changed to black...for now. LOL
We are proud to release Ambassador v1.1, an update to Ambassador v'a'.
Big thanks to the team for all of their help and support! :)
Is there a list of changes Steve-O?

To many to count to be honest. XD We did quite a bit of work to get this amazing theme updated for 2.1.3 :) .
Ah okay. Will just put it on my test site and compare it to the last version then.
Thanks Twitch!
Hey Steve. Sorry, but I've been worn out from work this past week and have been sleeping the weekend away! LOL
Yes, like Twitch said there were a lot of little things mostly. But this reminds me that we should start keeping a list of the things we do for each version. ;)
You can get the latest for v2.13 here!

Thanks Steve-O ... I've been busy pulling my hair out because my forum went down and it's taken me almost 3 days to get it running again ....

Cool beans!
Edit: Where is this 'Releases' of which you speak?
You should see the on the right side. If not, let me know. It means I've got more work to do. LOL Been trying to learn git and get it set up properly over the past few weeks.
On the right side of what? Can you screenshot it for me so I know where you're talking about?
Can you see this page? If so, it should be under "Assets".
https://github.com/Crip-Zone/Ambassador/releases/tag/v2.1.3-release
If you can see this page "Releases" should be on the right column. If not then I need to make some adjustments so guests, etc. can see it.
https://github.com/Crip-Zone/Ambassador
Let me know if the links are working for you, please.
Also, here is a direct link to the download:
https://github.com/Crip-Zone/Ambassador/releases/download/v2.1.3-release/Ambassador213c.zip
Maybe I should post that instead. I am currently learning about projects and milestones, etc. and think having that set up correctly would help a lot.
Okay, I'm an idiot! You meant at github and I thought you meant here.
And yes, all those links work for me.
LOL, ok that's good to know. I thought I had to do a lot more learning and more work. LOL
I think I'm gonna start leaving them there cause it will save on server space and it will be better documented concerning the updates, etc.
Sounds like a good plan. :D
I need to learn about projects, milestones, etc. so it looks like SMF's. ;)
