Lol, cats are awesome.  Over the last ten years, cats have replaced dogs as my favorite pet. (Still love dogs of course, just cats are more independent and aren't afraid to show you their discontent!)

I have two dogs and both of them are totally potty. One is small, hyper active and never stops, the other is tall, lazy and prefers nothing more than to curl up on the sofa snoozing ........ until he sees a cat.

At that point he has a personality change and goes into "Mad dog" mode. Luckily the cats have not only been quicker than him, but they seem they have this ability to get just out of reach and sit there taunting him driving him mad
